Practice Areas
Mr. Quinn concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate, real estate finance, environmental and land use law. He has twenty-five years’ experience representing institutional investors, developers, lenders and others in the acquisition and disposition of real estate, creation of development ventures and project financing. He also provides creative solutions to the remediation and reuse of contaminated properties (brownfields), including the allocation of liability through negotiation, mediation or litigation; negotiation of the scope of remediation activities and implementation of those solutions; and the cleanup of hazardous substances under federal and state Superfund laws. Mr. Quinn has been recognized by his peers as an Illinois “Leading Lawyer,” among the upper five percent of all Illinois lawyers who practice in the following category: Environmental Law.

Mr. Quinn is a member of the American, Chicago, Illinois State and Wisconsin Bar Associations and the American Institute of Certified Planners. He is also an Associate Member of the Urban Land Institute.

Mr. Quinn began his legal career as a staff attorney for the Seventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in Chicago. Subsequently, he was an associate and later partner with the firm of D’Ancona & Pflaum in Chicago and, most recently, he was a partner with the firm of Seyfarth Shaw, LLP in Chicago.
