Miss Kubasiak concentrates on property issues, including real estate transactions, and estates and trusts. Her practice also includes construction litigation and the representation of privately held businesses and related transactional matters.

Professional Associations & Affiliations
Miss Kubasiak is licensed to practice in the state of Illinois. She is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association and its Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section. In addition, she is a member of the Chicago Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and the Urban Land Institute. She is also an Adjunct Professor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law where she teaches Land Use and an Advanced Land Use Seminar.

Prior to joining Kubasiak, Fylstra, Thorpe & Rotunno, P.C. in 2005, Miss Kubasiak worked for the construction companies Walsh Construction and AMEC Construction Management, Inc. (formerly Morse Diesel International), as well as for the developer Stein & Company. Her work included project management of construction projects, as well as estimating and preconstruction analysis. Projects include: Fordham Tower, a $98 million, 50-story residential tower in Chicago; River East Center, a $207 million, 15-story hotel, and 56-story residential tower in Chicago; the $93 million Cook County Maximum Security Detention Center Division XI in Chicago; One North Wacker, a $139 million, 51-story office building in Chicago; Park Hyatt, a $200 million, 67-story hotel and residential tower in Chicago; Desert Inn Hotel & Casino, a $75 million renovation in Las Vegas; the $44 million University of Chicago Graduate School of Business in Chicago; the $175 million United Center in Chicago; the $263 million Oregon Arena in Portland; and the $225 million Spectrum II Arena in Philadelphia.
